"I walked into … an office with an essay that I had written about the social status of my generation in the modern day world … you saw the potential of this essay and helped me revise and edit it.  This piece then became my college entrance essay and has influenced the direction of my life ever since. You have changed the trajectory of my life … You are a living legend."

 NOW

Drew Jansen (Church Basement Ladies and How to Talk Minnesotan) and I are collaborating on a new musical called BEST YEARS - A Geriatrical Theatrical Celebrating the Chronologically Enriched.  It will open soon.

I am writing a libretto for my national award-winning play, Salem's Daughters, so that Jimmie Martin ~ composer of 6 musicals ~ can help me transform this national award-winning play into an opera.

Finally, I have just had my novel, Fast Eddie and the Boychick, accepted for publication next spring, and am just finishing a one-act two character play based on the novel.   Jimmie Martin is doing his musical magic on my lyrics for the one song that is in the play.

AND THEN

Last Christmas, Drew and I enjoyed a very successful revival of our first musical, A Servants' Christmas, at the History Theatre in St. Paul.  It was created from my original script of the same name.
